She has given lectures on small press publishing at several colleges and universities, and has sat on relevant panels at the Associated Writing Programs Conference and New York Round Table Writer's Conference. She writes a weekly subscriber-based newsletter about the small publishing business that includes tips for authors who are looking to find homes for their manuscripts at small presses. Diane currently lives and works in Hong Kong. She maintains her position at Black Lawrence Press and has been essential in establishing the press' office here in Hong Kong.
'Much of our success at Black Lawrence Press has come from publishing formerly unknown writers and helping them to find their audience; it is always a pleasure for me to speak with writers who are just starting out.'
