Mohyna Srinivasan's debut novel

The House on Mall Road

Published by Penguin, India

'Amidst all the drama of hidden secrets, the narrative comes with an honesty that is seldom seen with debut novels. Confident, poised and centred, the language is forthright and offers insights into society. A story in many layers, it makes for a wonderful read.'  ShinyVarghese (Good Housekeeping, March 2010)

Mohyna Srinivasan gave up working in the corporate sector to be a full-time writer six years ago. She is an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and has a Bachelor degree from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University. After holding various senior management positions, she decided to follow her passion. THE HOUSE ON MALL ROAD is her first novel. It was written in Hong Kong, where she lived for 6 years from 2001 until 2007. Since then she has returned to Mumbai.

Join us in an informal chat with Mohyna. She was an active member of WiPS for several years and was on the committee as Training Coordinator. Greatly missed since her departure, WiPS would like to share in some of her success...

Mohyna remains an overseas member of WiPS and a pre-publication excerpt from "The House on Mall Road" is included in IMPRINT 2010.
